"T.H.A.N.K.S.G.I.V.I.N.G."

I am thankful for God's Word and the impact it has had on my life and mankind throughout history...

T - TRUTH (John 17:17, Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.)

H - HOLY (2 Timothy 3:15, And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus)

A - AUTHORITY (Matthew 4:4, But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.)

N - NEVER WRONG (Psalm 12:6, The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.)

K - KNOWLEDGE OF GOD (Psalm 119:66, Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.)

S - SALVATION (1 Peter 1:23, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.)

G - GODLINESS (Psalm 119:9, Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.)

I - INSTRUCTION (2 Timothy 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.)

V - VALUABLE (Psalm 119:72, The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.)

I - INSULATION AGAINST SIN (Psalm 119:11,  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.)

N - NEVER ENDING (Psalm 119:89,  For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.)

G - GUIDANCE (Psalm 119:105, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.)

 Without a doubt, the Word of God is the greatest object a person can possess.  This Thanksgiving season, let's determine to be especially grateful for the Word of God, keeping in mind the millions of people throughout the world who do not have the Bible in their native tongue.
